We had the most beautiful wedding here in mid-July, 2009 The garden was just gorgeous. Weather, perfect. Picturesque. Barbara and Walter were wonderful hosts. We couldn't have asked for more. It is hard to find a place in Sonoma County that had everything we wanted. We rented the house for our wedding party and the cabin for us. It was very intimate and comfortable. We weren't limited to a certain wine....we were able to even have hard alcohol....which is more difficult to find than you would think in the wine country. HCG is a first class establishment. We couldn't have chosen a better site.

Absolute bliss.
We got married at HCG two weeks ago. From the moment we saw the place, we knew that we'd found what we were looking for--an outdoor venue that was not fussy or overly manicured, but possessed all of the beauty of wine country. From the lush flowers to the barn to the amazing oak tree and the sprawling vineyards, the setting was spectacular.
Many of our guests were from the East Coast, and were speechless upon arriving at our wedding. They could not get over the splendor of the setting.
We used Elsa Vera to coordinate our wedding, and would highly recommend her. Not only does she frequently coordinate weddings at this site, but on the day of the wedding, she shields you from any and all of the behind-the-scenes issues. She is a true pro. Barbara, the owner, was also lovely all along the way, answering our emails promptly and professionally. She even let us store some of our wedding stuff at the barn early in our wedding weekend, which was a huge time saver.
Don't be fooled by the HCG website, which does not do the site justice. You must go check out this site in person. It is breathtaking, particularly in the summer.

We just had our wedding (June 2009) at Healdsburg Country Gardens and it was absolutely perfect.
From our first visit to the site, we felt a connection and knew this was the spot for us. It is beautifully maintained and very comfortable. The owners were easy to work with - very responsive, accomodating and helpful, allowing us back to visit several times during our planning.
On the day of our wedding, the gardens were in full bloom and provided a beautiful backdrop to the event. The barn was a great space for dancing. All of our guests commented on how beautiful and perfect a site it was.
We rented the house for the weekend, which made things much easier the day of the wedding - more space for the girls to get ready.
Also suggest hiring Elsa Vera as your wedding coordinator - she knows this site inside and out. She's easy to work with and a great help the day of the wedding.

Our amazingly beautiful wedding was held in July. Our friends and family continue to tell us how much they loved our wedding and they always comment on the beautiful site. The gardens are filled with flowers and the vineyard view is incredible.
We were on a budget so we appreciated being able to use the vendors of our choice and select our own caterer. We did not pay extra for chairs, tables, and umbrellas because these were all included. There were so many flowers in the gardens we did not need to purchase a lot of expensive floral arrangements. These things combined made our dream wedding in the wine country an affordable reality and we still had enough for the honeymoon!!!
Healdsburg Country Gardens was perfect for our wine country wedding. When you see it you will know why.

get married: the tree, the barn, the views! It offered so much for
